CSSD
(Central
Sterile Supply Department)
Plays an
important role in deceasing and preventing the chances of
the spread of infectious diseases among patients during
their stay in the hospital. This is achieved by sterilizing
the surgery tools and equipment as well as the hospital
rooms, with the aim of killing and eradicating all germs
and poisons that might be found on cloth , tools and
equipment used in the hospital.

Kitchen and nutrition
The kitchen
and nutrition section is responsible for the healthy
nutrition of the patients and providing food for the
hospital staff. Its major task lies in providing health
awareness and preparing daily meals for the patients and the
hospital’s staff. This section
is instrumental in that it provides healthy meals to the
patients, by giving each his adequate food according to his
case. It strives to adopt all new developments in the
fields of nutrition and diet and to abide by the
international nutrition and health standards.

Environmental Services
The
department ensures the hospital’s general cleanness of both
germs and dirtiness. It gives the hospital a continuously
renewed clean and elegant look. It also follows all
developments in the field of pesticides and the safe means
of using them. The department staff go through regular
training sessions that introduce them to the new equipment
and how to use them.
